To pick up money, your contact needs to provide a transaction number alongside a valid photo ID at the
pickup location.
In Argentina, the following documents are accepted:
- Documento Nacional de Identidad (national identity card) or passport for Argentinian citizens.
- Passport for non-citizens traveling in Argentina
- CUIL for legal residents
Enter all information carefully when sending a transaction. If what you provide us doesn’t match your contact’s ID, they’ll not be able to get the money.
Additional information to consider before sending cash for your contact to pick up at a partner’s location in Argentina:
- Money is available for pickup in Argentinean Pesos (ARS), usually within 30 minutes.
- When sending through our partner Giros Express, there’s a $120,000 ARN yearly limit.
To receive more than $5,000 pesos in one day, your contact must provide the following at the pickup location:
- A government-issued ID
- Your name and their relationship to you
- Origin of the funds
- “PEPS” document
For your contact to receive more than $40,000 pesos in one year, you must provide the following documents, which will be valid for one year:
- A government-issued ID
- Your name and your relationship to your contact
- Origin of the funds
