When sending a transaction, we’ll ask you for information about your contact and their bank account. Make sure to enter all information carefully to avoid delays. Here’s what you’ll need to know:
- Bank details and account number
- The entire name of your contact as it appears on their bank account
- A valid phone number from your contact (city code + domestic number)
- We may ask for your contact's mailing address if required by our payment partner
Additional information to consider before sending to a bank account in Peru:
- Bank deposits are available through these payment partners: Interbank, Banco de Credito, BCP, and BBVA Banco Continental.
- It typically takes an hour to complete the deposit.
- If you’re sending US dollars to a BCP Nuevo Sol account, the receiving bank may convert the US dollars into Peruvian Nuevos Soles at the current exchange rate.
- For Interbank transactions, you’ll need to know the type of account you’re sending to (checking or savings).
