If this is the first time your contact receives money with Bancolombia, they need to activate "Abono automático", using one of the following options:
- Online at Sucursal Virtual Personas (e-banking)
- By WhatsApp at +57 305 207 3759
- By calling the toll-free number 18000 910090
- In person at any Bancolombia branch
What happens if my contact doesn’t activate “Abono automático”?
If your contact isn’t enrolled in "Abono automático", Bancolombia will only make the transaction available for pickup in the meantime.
What happens if my contact has multiple bank accounts with Bancolombia?
If your contact has a Bancolombia account with “Abono Automático” enabled, all transactions will be deposited into that specific bank account, even if your contact has multiple accounts with Bancolombia or if cash pickup was selected.
If the account information of your contact doesn’t match with what’s on file, and Bancolombia is unable to complete the deposit, they will make the funds available for pickup instead.
