Nequi’s transactions are processed through our partner Banco W. If your contact is receiving an international transfer for the first time, the Formulario de Atención needs to be completed. It is required under Colombian government regulations; however, it’s a quick and easy process that you or your contact can fill out entirely online.
How to complete the Formulario de Atención?
- You or your contact can fill it out here: Complete the Banco W form.
- Once the Formulario de Atención is submitted, no further action is needed from you. Banco W will process it and release the transfer to your contact during bank processing hours.
How much time do we have to complete the form?
The Formulario de Atención must be completed within 7 business days. The sooner it’s submitted, the faster your transfer will be processed.
What happens if the form is not completed?
Banco W will reach out to your contact by phone, email, or WhatsApp to help complete this process. If the form is not completed within 7 business days, your transaction will be cancelled.

To make future transfers faster, when adding your contact details on Xoom, enter their Citizenship Card (Cédula de ciudadanía). This way it is not needed to complete the Formulario de Atención.
